I've been using Moto phones for 10 years, and always using headphones or headphone extenders to get radio stations to come in. This improves reception: Previously inside my house I could find about 20 stations, but only about 8 were free of static enough to listen to. With this antenna I get 37 stations, and 30+ are free of static..If you have a Moto Phone, you Probably already have the FM Radio App. This will turn any Echo in your house into a decent sounding radio. :-) Most other american phones have the bluetooth chip locked up so you can get OTA radio. But most Moto phones (through Tracfone at least) come with bluetooth unlocked and the FM Radio app pre-installed.The only negative is the hard 90 Degree turn in the jack. I wish there was one available with a hinge, so you can rotate the antenna. It doesn't seem to affect reception, but it's just a little wierd to have it extending off to the right or left instead of up.

I did purchased it and returned it I never used it but examing it I can say it is solid and built well that say in some YouTube videos that you can use it on androids for radio offline yes it is true but good luck acuiring app software/roms. There is no valid apks and it takes 2 to 3 app combined to make it work a few people have the antennas and apps to make it work and they will say it is a headake it make it work and upon looking at these antenna I think it can work for older 20 year old portable hand held tvs too.

Don't expect it to pick up stations 100+ miles away.. but it does receive local FM Stations on my tablet. The small antennas are quite directional, but for something that small, it is expected.
