As a metal fabricator, putting a large hole in sheet metal isn't always easy. Step bits and standard hole saws do ok, but have their limitations. That's where this steps in, cutting a nice clean hole right though the metal. I know it's targeted toward knockouts so I understand the limited number of hole sized, but I wish for metal fabricators it had more options because it makes such a nice clean hole. The effort is low enough that you can punch the hole with just hand tools, so that is nice, but what keeps this from being 5 stars it the price compared to the other option here on amazon. Still a good tool.

I do aviation sheet metal work and It’s always nice to have the right tool for the job. If you need to make holes the size of one of the four cutouts in this kit your in luck. They cut very nice clean holes with very little effort making a 20 to 30 minute job into a 2 to 3 minute one. But with the limited number of punches I am going to have to keep on the lookout for other sizes. There are other options out there with similar price points, also some cheaper. Overall I feel it is a good set.
