Thank goodness Cotoneasters are hardy plants because the shipping package is terrible. The plant had a few broken branches but overall it's a beautiful plant.I am making this into a bonsai and was able to get 2 separate plants out of this one nursery stock. As a bonsai OR a ground cover this plant is excellent they just need to improve the packaging. Can't wait for the flowers and berries this should produce next year.

I've placed three large orders for this shrub. Every time, the grower quickly ships them. The plants arrive very well packaged. Most of all, the plants are of a very good size and very healthy. They are so much better than what I can get at a local nursery and for a lower price. I planted these on a steep hillside in the Spring, and they are growing very well, despite the summer heat. They say that this variety of cotoneaster is fast-growing and a great groundcover for slopes and banks. I can attest that is true. My plants have already put on lots of new growth in only three months.

I ordered 6 shrubs. Two died right away. I tried to contact seller but no response. I ordered 2 more because now I’m stuck with these and need to replant. Now another is dying. Good grief, these were expensive and I’m not very happy. They are planted in excellent soil

I needed six additional cotoneaster plants to complete a gardening project at my home and due to the lateness of the season, I could not find any more within a reasonable radius of my home. My first thought was Amazon, but never purchasing live plants from there I was a little apprehensive of taking the chance. I really wanted to finish the project ( a steep bank between my house and the one next door) so I took a chance. I am very grateful that I went ahead and purchased these plants. They are lush and beautiful and very healthy. In fact, they surpass the quality of the plants I purchased locally. Don't be afraid to purchase plants, especially from this grower. They arrived sooner than expected, very well packaged and ready to plant. I will be ordering from this grower again.

I was pretty skeptical about ordering a live plant through the mail, and even more skeptical at ordering it from Amazon who crushes my cardstock packs every time I order that item. Well, I have to admit that this was a really good experience! I had looked for a Cotoneaster Adpressus in at least 20 different nurseries in the state. No one had the variety I wanted, but Amazon did and it was supplied through a nursery too. So, I ordered it and crossed my fingers. I was extremely impressed with the packaging which kept it moist and well-planted through the journey. The original shipping time said 5-7 days and I thought that was going to be a long time for a plant to survive in transit, however, it arrived in 2 days. In the first picture, it's obviously the small plant in the center. The other plants are fully grown, planted 18 years ago. The plant looks healthy and I fully expect it to thrive. In size it compares to another shrub I bought from a local nursery and planted this year. I'm delighted to have been able to source the shrub I wanted and this was a great experience. I would definitely do it again if I can't buy locally.

Beautiful plant. BUT I found it is considered an invasive plant after I ordered. They will be delivered today. So I am going to plant in a 5 gallon plastic bucket with the bottom cut off. Hopefully this will contain the roots. They also spread by wildlife eating the berries. I can't do anything about that. I'm in a rural wooded area so will take my chances on that. The description should have mentioned they ae invasive.

Plants have been in the ground a couple weeks now and they are doing great. I looked for these old fashioned cotoneasters for a couple years, trolling nurseries in my two-state area.......they all have the "tom thumb" but "cranberry" cotoneaster plants seem to have gone out of style. I've had them around the front landscape for years but the evergreen trees have now succeeded in overtaking their turf. So finding cranberry cotoneasters on Amazon was a major "whoo hoo" for my husband as he was beyond sick of looking! We were immediately impressed as they arrived in the most amazing packaging......tall cardboard boxes crafted especially for the height and width of the plants. Instructions came on how to safely and properly de-construct the boxes (very helpful). The arriving plant stock was healthy in both quality and size and we're so impressed we'll not hesitate to order from these guys in the future.
