Sadly, nearly everything I have used this in, the elastic has become unraveled. I've decided to make a trip to JoAnn Fabrics, where I found good elastic bands years ago. Better hurry, though, as they are going out of business :(

I had a few work hoodies that needed help with the waistband and decided to get this and I am happy with my decision. It is not too wide nor is it too small but it definitely has a great elasticity value.

This isn't as heavy as I was hoping it would be. It's nice quality elastic, but I really needed heavy-duty elastic, and this just isn't it. That being said, I will use it for other applications, just not the project it was intended for.

I have used this for wigs, to make belts for a dress. This stuff is so multi-purpose and the price for it is wonderful. Bought this back in Sept. of 2017 and I still have a lot left!

I recently did the big chop and needed to secure my wigs being that I can't use bobby pins anymore. I measured my band from ear to ear with pressure and then cut off 1 inch. After sewing the band on both sides of the wig and trying it on, it gave me a secure fit. I then used bobby pins to apply the bottom portion of the wig to the band. It's a perfect fit.

This elastic was perfect for use in a Halloween costume I made (see picture - The picture from the back shows what the elastic needed to hold up and the picture from the front you can barely see the elastic as it's blending into my black shirt!). I made large butterfly wings from felt and then realized I hadn't thought of how to attach the wings to myself. I used the elastic to make two loop holes to go over each arm to wear the wings and it worked perfectly! I was able to attach the elastic using only a glue gun and had no problem with the elastic coming undone even after wearing the costume to two parties. The elastic was of great quality and did not fray when cut. The elastic also had the right amount of give so that I could easily get my costume on and off and did not stretch out over time.Highly recommended.
