The bits seem to be decent quality and sharp. They have, so far worked OK although I've only tried them on soft wood. My main concern started when I slid one into the collet. It just fell all the way to the shoulder. Normally I get enough friction that it stays at the height I want while I tighten. So I measured and found them 0.247 - 0.248" rather than the full 0.25. If your collet is at all worn you should be really careful about bit-slip since these might start out at the very limit of your tolerance.

I've only used one of them so far, but the cut is clean and I expect the others will provide similar results. They've got a sharp edge and appear well made. I'm not expecting that they will last as long as high end expensive bits, but $19.99 (sat time of order) for a set of 8 bits is the best value you're going to get. Even if they don't last long, getting a couple of projects out of each will be worth the price.

I make cutting boards as a side gig. Purchased these bits to carve out juice grooves on my boards. The bits work, but create quite a bit of burning ever with shallow passes. This creates quite a bit of extra work for me. If you’re using on soft woods they’re great…hard woods not so much. Really comes down the sharpness.

Nice complete set. I've been using these to cut juice grooves on some cutting boards I've made. They cut smooth and don't burn if you run at low rpm.

I have only ran them on softer wood and didn't experience any issues on those passes. I don't expect to have any complaints relative to the price point of these bits.

Cove Box Router Bit Set 1/4 Inch Shank, 8 Pcs Solid Carbide Double Flute Cove Box Round Nose, Cutter for 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8", 1" Cutting Diameterthis is a budget set. i can point out all the problems i see. but this isnt an amana set. for its class i am fine with it. the geometry is a little off and at least one bit leaves a line. they are not perfect and for 20 bucks i have no issues whatsoever with this set. all the brazing is painted and i fear that could be hiding some more serious problems, but so far are within the margin of error i was expecting.

I used these to cut some flutes. They worked fine the cuts were clean. Only time will tell how durable they will be. I don't use cove bits all that often, so for me these will be fine.
