It falls on its face once you put anything (including its own pegs) into the face of it. The holes aren't 100% punched. The posts don't go down real far into it and the holes also aren't drilled straight.

I've been crocheting a long time. I like to block my work, especially prior to seaming. Like a lot of crocheters, I've been blocking using styrofoam and skewers. Sure wish I'd have gotten this much-easier-to-use and far more attractive boards eons ago!This board is sturdy and the stand very stable with plenty of peg holes to manage even complex designs. Along with the board I received stainless steel pegs, ten 4-inch pins and ten 6-inch (a total of twenty), along with 5 blunt, large eye stainless steel yarn needles in a capped storage tube.I haven't attempted to load the board while in the stand, but loaded flat and it was effortless. If you're using the foam/skewers you already know that system can be frustrating. Loading the stainless steel pegged in the bamboo is a pleasure.I like the size, too, I suspect it'll easily handle 50 squares. I'm glad to have this eco friendly, durable and attractive blocking board that, for me, doubles as an art display whilst my pieces dry. This would be the perfect gift for a seasoned artist and newbie, too.

The product itself was great quality and looks just like the product images. I guess I didn’t read the dimensions properly because it ended up being too small for what I needed so I ended up having to return the item. I do plan on re-ordering through this company though for the right size that I need.

It's important that stainless steel pins are used when blocking your work, especially if you intend to "Wet Block" with water or steam.The needles came in a nice plastic capsule bottle, it would have been nice to have a container for the pins. Those came in a plastic bag which the pins had poked through. With the cold weather coming, I knew my sister would be making so many blankets. I got this for her and she is so relieved. It helps her keep her items together and uniform. She was also having a hard time finding something like this at her local stores.
