Decent enough for light use. Lays flat in the carry case making it convenient to carry in a backpack or bag. Carried them when traveling and got to use them when a snowstorm blanketed the area where I was staying. These slipped over my shoes and allowed me to safely walk around in the 4-6 inches of snow and ice that built up from compression.

Not good wore them for about two hours ice fishing and the studs came out, won't bye them again. They are crap!

Very disappointed that these would not stay on my boots even when the correct size was ordered. I have other brands of inexpensive crampons I bought previously, and never had a problem with those coming loose. I think the design of how these attach to your boot makes them unable to attach well. The velcro straps held them in the center section, but the heel part came off several times. There is a few slots near the back, that could accommodate an additional strap, but the one included could only work in the center section. Photos show the missing spikes that came off after one use.

Ironically the week after I bought these I had to go somewhere that was a sheet of ice and I ended up sliding down a hill. I thought about how it would have been smart of me to keep these in my truck at all times. Later I tried them out and they work really well. They're pretty easy to attach and were pretty sturdy. They definitely helped on icy terrain. Gladly the winter is ending and I wont need these for a while!

Like some other reviewers I too lost a stud after only a handful of outings. Studs on such boots need to take a lot of pressure and I'm hoping the rest stay put. I tested all of them by hand before the first outing just to be sure none were compromised and didn't find anything obvious but clearly now that one is gone, that wasn't the best test. Hopefully the rest will last longer. Otherwise, I didn't have any fit issues over my boots and the straps didn't allow the crampons to move much so I had no problems with slippage. As the title indicates, good but not great.I hope you found this information helpful for your choice.
