Days are just what the name says crappie magnets. Crappie love them and their tough little baits also. You can catch quite a few crappie on one bait. And that split tail just drives them crazy. If you have the right color on they will just slam it. The kind of bite you dream about Crappie fishing.

Find these a little too big for casual bank fishing, but imagine if you were in a crappie hot spot with some slabs, they would be very effective.As said in the description, Trout Magnet is the more universally successful size/version of this design IMO.

I've used these and their little brother "Trout Magnets" -- both made by Leland Lures -- for crappie. This color combo is effective when tightlining or bobber fishing in stained water. I generally pair the larger Crappie Magnet with a 24th oz jig or larger and use a 32nd or smaller with the Trout Magnet (left in pic).
