My 3 year old loves this, and I do too! It works great as a crash pad, the foam padding inside is thick and holds up well when it's jumped into and I'm not worried about him hitting the floor. The cover is very soft and comfortable. It also works great as a place to curl up and read a book, we do that just about every night. I let it open up and inflate for about 24 hours (it came vacuum packed), I didn't notice any smell and it was easy to get into the cover.

Excellent crash pads! Perfect for my sensory-sensitive autistic grandkid. This crash pad is nicely sized and, when fully expanded, is super large and is plenty big for the kids to jump into safely. Its super easy to clean, which is very helpful, as the cover comes off and can go right into the washing machine. Its soft, safe, and we've loving it! Fairly priced too.

I like that this has a washable cover and it's very easy to set up. The crash pad comes in a vacuum sealed bag and it inflates pretty quickly. It's not as firm as other brands and also the crash pad is fairly small in size (3x3).

I picked up this crash pad to use under the swings and next to the bounce house, and it’s been a great safety buffer for my 3 and 5 year olds. It’s super fluffy and does a great job breaking their falls. Whether they’re tumbling off the swing or bouncing out of the inflatable, it gives me some peace of mind knowing they’ve got a soft landing spot. The padding is thick and comfortable, and the cover seems durable enough for outdoor play. That said, it does feel a bit pricey for what it is. You’re definitely paying for the convenience and the safety factor, but for us, it’s been worth it to cut down on the bumps and bruises.

This review is for the Crash Pads for Kids Sensory, Sensory Crash Pads for Autistic Children, Crash Pads Sensory Pads, Crash Pads, for Children and Adults, with Washable Cover Blue.I grabbed this thinking it may be good as a dog bed, but upon getting it I've decided it won't work for that, but it will make a very nice big pillow/cushion for my bed! LOL. My female rott recently injured herself outside, it's her hind legs and I thought this might be good for her for some padding in her kennnel since I'm having to restrict her movement for healing purposes, but it's actually too big and cushy as she sinks down into it and she has trouble moving around on it. But it's great as a big cushion on my bed, so still a win win LOL. This is well made with the inner silky material lining containing the foam pieces and the outer velvet cover that goes on it. I must say this is v ery well packaged inside 3 vacuum sealed plastic bags and I'm always amazed at how small they can shrink these things down too! Anyway regular price $ 109.99 per the listing for the 3X3 fooot that I got.

My 8 year old is obsessed with parkour and thinks he’s a fearless acrobat all through my house and furniture. He’s been practicing landing jumps and we have hardwood floors everywhere, so you can imagine that some of those jumps didn’t work out and ended in some tears. I decided to order this crash pad to offer him somewhere he can fall on top of after jumping from the couch, and it has worked out AMAZINGLY. It’s big, soft, and has plenty of space to accommodate his whole body however he ends up landing. He’s had a lot less fear about falling now, and has helped build some confidence in trying new jumps. He also loves it for just laying on to play iPad, and it quickly became a favorite space in the house. It’s heavy, but yet still easy enough for him to drag around where he wants it. I love that it has a washable cover as well!

Ok, if you're seriously looking for a real thick & spongy bag for your kids to go jumping onto & not get hurt....?Look elsewhere. This is NOT it. Sorry. Pictures don't lie. That's my 15 year old and 80 lbs dog. Laying still she already compresses it halfway. I sat on it and it crushed all the way to the hard wood floor underneath. Granted, I do weigh 200 lbs, but it wouldn't take much for a 50-70 lb kid to smack their knee or head. The inside are tiny squares of foam that with force move and let your knee/etc go straight through to contact whatever hard surface is underneath. As a dog bed, however, you can see that it's mighty comfy! Hope that helps you decide. Enjoy!!

This crash pad has a lot of uses for kids. It’s about 3 feet by 3 feet but you will need to push the foam in the inner bag out to the edges to get it to distribute evenly. There are 2 parts to this. The outer cover, which is easy to remove and wash as needed, and the fabric bag, which does not unzip. Inside the fabric bag is the foam, so you just push the foam inside out to the sides after you insert the fabric bag with the foam into the outer cover. It took my husband and I both holding it like you would to put a pillow inside a pillowcase to get the foam containing bag inside the cover. It easily zips closed and the zipper is good quality. Both the inner and outer portions have little squares for ventilation to allow for compression and decompression of the foam when the kids jump on it. I love that it’s so thick, as that means they can really crash out on it if they need to. There is no spring to it, as it’s only foam, so they won’t bounce at all when they land on it. It makes an amazing place for kids to sit and play, read or just meet their sensory needs. My little guy has spent most of time sitting on it since we put it out for him, so I would say it earns 5 stars. Please see my photos for details (ignore the messy room, kids live there).Side Note: I also have large dogs who think it makes an amazing dog bed, so if you wanted it could also be a bed for large dogs, it certainly has enough padding to get them up off the floor and cushion their joints.
