Great value, only complaint would be (and it's not just limited to this product) is manufacturers are not providing detailed instructions, just a picture with numbers, and it's a SMALL picture at that!

This is not an actual laser engraver it's just a cover, and an expensive one at that

The construction was easy to finish and most everything went together without a hitch. When I first tried it with my engraver it didn't pull enough of the smoke away. I added an auxiliary fan in line and that works well.

My laser is in my wood shop. So a cover was a necessity. I tried a couple others and they all had a sticky vinyl feel which would've held onto every speck of dust. This covers fabric isn't sticky and if any dust does get onto it I can just vacuum it off real quick and its good as new. I like the integrated spot for an exhaust fan and the spot for cables to go through the side of the box. If an exhaust fan is hooked up, it does a pretty good job of getting all the smoke out of the enclosure itself. The little pocket on the right side is perfect for any hold down tools, focusing tools, glasses, and any other little tools used with a laser engraver. The zipper is high quality from what I can tell. It hasn't given me any trouble after a month of use. For my situation and location, it's definitely worth the price.

I have young kids that do not understand the laser can hurt their eyes, and I live is SW Florida so working in the garage is not an option. Yet my kids are very interested in this flashing blue light carving images on surfaces. So, this serves two purposes for me. It allows me to contain the fumes and protect my kids' eyes. And again, without an open window to vent it through I bought a 4-inch carbon air filter and got a 3 inch to 4-inch duct adaptor to attach this to the filter. The result is perfect, no fumes/smell and no harmful light.

It was easy to assemble despite very vague instructions as I've come to learn about Creality. There's storage pockets on the side and the fan can be mounted on either side. It's large enough to fit most engravers. I was concerned about the zippers and how large the opening was but it opens all the way up. I can't speak on the fume extraction since I haven't tested that part yet. Overall, I'm a big fan!

This enclosure works ok. I had to do some modifications to make it work better.1. Make sure it sits flat on the table2. The fan that comes with it is not strong enough by itself to ventilate the enclosure. Creality offers a kit with just a fan and hose. The enclosure has two fan hookups. I bought the fan kit and it made a big difference3. Pay attention to your window. Or wherever you’re venting. When I started my hose was venting it out the window and then the fumes came right back through the window. I got some 3” flanges and built a frame and mounted my fan hoses to it to keep fumes from coming back in.4. This enclosure is not air tight and there could be some things to make it better.5. I used this on a longer B1 laser. It does fit however the laser has to be raised about an inch. My laser is currently sitting on cans of chicken.Overall I’m happy with the enclosure. The price might of been a little high but it does what I bought it for and I’ll use it untill it’s wore out or something better comes along.
