This is a very small piece of glass which they ship in a small envelope with a meager piece of bubble wrap. They act surprised when it is broken in shipping.The ad shows a wooden frame in some images and just glass in others. This is just the glass, so do not be fooled by the mixed message.The actual tool is not bad - 3 of the edges are very smooth and the faces are what you would expect of commercial glass. There are two sharp corners and two nice rounded corners for use in marking corners of work. The tool functions fairly well as a slicker, but the multiple orders due to the first one being broken caused it to be late for the latest batch of work, so I did not get to test it as well as hoped.Hopefully, they will wrap it better or you will just be luckier.

Good value for the price. i've not used other glass slickers, not sure i needed two, but they are beveled on three sides.1/4" thick and feels good...no regrets here

This worked great for the projects I have used it on so far. After skiving, the flesh side of my leather was very hairy and rough. I put a little burnishing gum on it and use this glass to spread it down and press the fibers down. It gives a nice clean finish, and doesn't take much work at all. Great tool!
