Of course, the price is nothing to sneeze at but the value is incredible. Mine is the antique white (distressed look). If I had to do it all over again, I certainly would. It's absolutely beautiful.

This mantle is enormous! I will have to move my TV higher for it to fit, but it is very attractive and will look so pretty decorated for Christmas.

I always dread when I get a big box because I automatically think there’s a ton of pieces that I have to put together. With this you literally only have four pieces. It’s so easy to put together. I’m debating if I want to takeoff my original mantle piece or not. I’m thinking I may put pictures or some thing on top of the new mantle that will cover the mantle shelf that I originally have. That gives me more shelf space.It looks gorgeous and it fits well with my decor.

This fireplace mantle went together so easy. It’s just three pieces that screw together and it’s freestanding, so no mounting required for it to simply stand. It does come with hardware to attach it to the wall for safety. We are using it as part of a project with an electric fireplace to build a surround. For those who are curious, since the ad doesn’t list it, the inside measurements are 34.5”W x 34”H.

We were excited to get this because the dimensions were perfect and the style is very transitional and timeless. We were disappointed that it arrived in a box (undamaged) but the mantle itself was marred up and warped. The front rounded part of the mantle is wavy and super flimsy. You can see it in the pictures. There's definitely quality control issues. Hopefully you will receive a better quality mantle. The paint finish is rough and almost feels like a primer with no paint.The mantle was easy to assemble and is relatively lightweight and easy to move around. It comes with a cleat to mount it to the wall and the required hardware. That definitely makes me more comfortable knowing that it won't fall on my toddler. That's really the only pro I have with this mantle.At this price point, this should have arrived in perfect condition. This is very disappointing and I do not recommend buying this. You could likely have someone build one for you for less money and it would be solid wood.

Advertised as used, in "very good condion," with "small imperfections" on one corner. Arrived with many instances of damage. See photos above. Also, description is misleading--the mantel piece is wood but the supports are very cheap fiberboard. In this condition the price was way, way too much!!!!!

This mantel is just totally gorgeous! I've always wanted one even though we don't have a fireplace, you can put it on a blank wall to really add to your décor. Plus, if you are a renter you can take this with you if you move! This is a well made, high quality piece. I do find it to be pricey but I'm not an expert on these. It is really large and eye-catching! It arrives in a huge box but assembly is too simple. It has great space on top for photos, knickknacks and I'm definitely hanging stockings from it this Christmas. I would definitely recommend it.
