Your cart is empty.The Creative Grids Alaska Ruler, designed by Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts, cuts a multitude of shapes in a variety of sizes. Cut 45 degree wedges, diamonds, squares and half-square triangles all with the same ruler! The instructions include how to make a basic kaleidoscope block as well as an Alaska block in four different sizes, from 9 to 16-inches. The ruler slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied. Then, our exclusive gripper holds the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and miss-cuts!

I bought the pattern for the Alaska Quilt and it recommended this ruler as well as a template set. Both are not needed. The templates were less expensive and I feel will be easier to work with so I will be returning this.

I bought this ruler to go with the Alaska pattern by Laundry Basket quilts. The ruler seems like it will help immensely with cutting and construction. I have quite a few Creative Grids rulers and they are all very well made, have non-slip built in, and are well marked to measure accurately.
