Don’t know what I expected but it should be longer. Comes in paper package. My needle already chunked it and then got stuck in the ruler costing $350 repair to my longarm. Maybe rulers aren’t for me.

This is my first time at attempting ruler work on the long arm. The product was easy to use, did not slip or slide around. It is well made and easy to read.

If it's Handi Quilter then you know it's good ! Been wonting this ruler but it was always sold out or out of stock. Haven't used it but I know its going to be perfect.

This is the perfect ruler for Streight edge quilting using a ruler foot. There is a nice feel to the ruler when quilting and the perfect size for Free Motion Quilting. Great Product.

I love this ruler. It's intended for Long Arm use but I'm using it for domestic sewing machine ruler work. I was finding that the straight rulers intended for domestic ruler work are often too short because they don't reach to the destination point. I have a Juki machine and do not find the ruler too thick. I still need a ton of practice, but this ruler is certainly helping me.

I'm using it on my domestic sewing machine, and the markings are great, and it is thick enough for my high shank machine. It's just the right size, not too big or small. If you're learning to use rulers on your home machine, it is a good beginning ruler to invest in and have.
