Excellent pipe wrench a little on the heavy side but well balanced and I am able to operate with one hand, when I say it’s on the heavy side remember it’s a 24 inch pipe wrench and its cast iron I think it’s perfect definitely a good purchase.

The 24" Crescent pipe wrench is larger than I had realized based off the description and how small it looks in the product picture where it is placed next to two 36" wrenches. The attached picture shows it relative to a 16 oz. water bottle.The adjustment ring spins easily, which makes dialing in the right jaw opening quick. All edges on the handle and other surfaces are well rounded, so when torquing hard on a pipe, the handle remains comfortable (no hard edges to dig into your hands). The teeth angle and jaw movement are well designed to grip firmly when rotated toward the jaws, then let go when rotated the opposite direction.Everything about this wrench feels solid and made to last a very long time. Was not surprised that it includes a lifetime warranty. Only problem is that loosening pipes often requires two pipe wrenches. Having used this wrench I now realize I may want to buy a second one to replace the pipe wrench I own that is often too small.

This wrench is BIG and it's HEAVY DUTY (and just plain heavy). Frankly, I wasn't expecting it to be this big. It's so big that it's only useful for select applications which require you to provide torque on super big pipes. For me and household use, the wrench is simply too big and heavy. That said, it is an excellent quality wrench whose slider allows for easy opening and closing od the diameter around a pipe and this thing will last a lifetime.

This is a heavy duty pipe wrench.The full cast iron body is heavy but gives you a lot of leverage to loosen stuck pipes.It looks and feels well made and should last a lifetime.
