La pintura viene mal de fábrica. Se chipea enseguida especialmente en los bordes donde roza con otras piezas, dejando ver debajo un acero no protegido, susceptible a la corrosión. Además también hay varios sitios donde se deja ver que no han pintado bien la herramienta o donde está presenta pequeñas marcas que con el roce harán que este tipo de pintura se salte con facilidad. Por último, algunas otras piezas como los remaches tampoco parecen de buena calidad. No creo que sea una herramienta apropiada para trabajar en fontanería de manera profesional.

I have some of my dad's rigid pipe wrenches but I have them for home heavy duty use. I have also a house brand from my local hardware store called mint craft which I used in the city when I worked in the green house since we didn't have a fire hydrant wrench. I had to use it to install a valve on the hydrant and turn on the valve until I got a hydrant wrench. I have the mint craft as backup for if I don't want to use the rigid wrenches. I purchased this one to try since I have some screwdrivers and pliers from milwaukee to see if milwaukee stepped up to the plate in pipe wrenches. I also have a husky pipe wrench that I have as a go to but want to use this in conjunction with the husky. Since they are both 14 inches in size. I will see how well it works and will be a go to as well along with the husky pipe wrench.

The jaw maintains a nice grip on pipes. Versatile size and not too heavy. Love this addition to my quiver of pipe wrenches.

Rather you are starting out or are an journeyman plumber. You need this and an 18” pipe wrenches in your tool arsenal. This work great on galvanized and black pipe. Easy to clean also.
