I had my previous wood folding ruler for 25 years and it finally fell apart. I purchased this one and hopefully it will last just as long. It is easy to extend and seems to be built to last.

Very good solid construction. Feels like it will last awhile. Only negative is the hash marks indicating the 1/8 1/4 1/6 I bring this up because they can be very hard to read and differentiate between what is what. Now unless you are a seasoned tape measure reader I would really pay attention to the marks. And this isn’t just for this brand it’s for all the stick rulers that I have used.

I accidentally broke my old one after many, many years of use, and was very glad to find another like it. It is sturdy and does not break easily. It folds and unfolds nicely, compact and easy to store, and I've used it for many things over the years.
