Nicely made, fits my oneway chucks nicely, makes it quicker to rough out wood items and then switch to item being held by the chuck.

Why isn't the base tapered? It pushes through the chuck jaws with any pressure from the tail stock. It might also have too many teeth, too close. It doesn't grip easily. Not happy with the design.

A nicely machined and finished tool. Strong spring on center point allows for mounting/dismounting turnings without stopping the lathe. Sharp, fine teeth engage the turning blank nicely.This tool is designed for use in a woodturning lathe chuck with a set of jaws installed in the chuck. The body of this tool is designed to seat against the chuck jaws while the chuck's jaw slides tighten against the flats on the base of the tool.
