Great looking, but after the return window closed, the lever won't stay down. I've tried cleaning it out entirely, putting a screwdriver into the lever area, jiggling it, etc. and the lever still won't stay down. I have to stand there and manually hold it down in order for it toast. I've read other people having this issue, and there is no resolution. I can't reach out to the company either through Amazon, I'm just forced to read FAQs, which none address the core issue.3/11 update:After posting this review, a Customer Service rep reached out to follow up. Despite being past the window for a return or exchange, they still sent me a replacement one at no additional cost. Happy to report no issues after a week of usage so far. I will update my review again if I run into further issues.

Beautiful and works great. We like the controls and how they work. The toasting colors are perfect. We’ve been using it daily for 2 weeks. So far, very pleased. Time will tell how long it will lasts, but we have no reason to think it will fail.

It toasts well and looks really cute. I love the vintage look, as it goes perfect with my decor. It toasts quickly and I have had zero issues with it. I appreciate the crumb compartment that can be easily removed to clean. For the price, it is very decent and well made. Happy with the purchase!

I loved this toaster. The red matched my kitchen appliances and it worked well. Sure, it wasn't 100% perfect in uniform toasting, but it did the job and I put it to good use in the first month I had it. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of putting a pop tart in it. Then 1/3 of it broke off and fell in. No big deal I figured, I have bamboo tongs. But because it is so flat, it didn't stick up, but slid down flat into the toaster. I figured that wasn't a big deal either, as it would come out with the crumb tray. Guess again. It ended up wedged into an inaccessible area of the toaster that I would not be able to get loose unless I started unscrewing things. Of course it was just outside the return period, so it was totally useless, felled by a pop tart. So aggravating! I ended up buying another (thankfully on sale) since I loved it so much, but you can rest assured I will never toast anything thin in there again. I haven't used the warming tray but I do wish it had instructions on how to close it once you open it. It wasn't instantly intuitive that you had to squeeze it in places to lay flat again.Update: The seller contacted me after I left this review and told me that the product had a 12-month warranty with them and that they would be happy to replace the toaster due to the defect. I told them I had no idea there was such a warranty since it wasn't in the listing or in the box, and that's why I repurchased the toaster. The only real remedy would be to refund that second toaster, although I never expected they would actually do that. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a very prompt email that they had done just that. Very good customer service.I also have finally used the warming tray and it actually works very well. It was nice to easily toast some hot dog buns.

Really nice toaster especially for the price. Great look and is very versatile. Even Poptarts work - just lower the lever first then drop them in. That keeps them centered so they don't have a chance to get caught in the gaps & refuse to pop up. I was having to do that on my other toaster too ever since they started making them thinner. When my toaster arrived, like some other reviews, one side was toasting darker than the other, but I gently pulled the top of the offending side guides to the center just slightly. Really didn't even feel it move, but it makes perfect toast now because the bread is now centered when the lever is depressed. Unplug first of course. Maybe I shouldn't have, but at this price, felt it was worth the risk - saved me from having to return it. Have used the defrost for frozen waffles, the one-sided toasting for bagels & the Reheat settings - all work great. Have not used the warming attachment as yet. For one-sided toasting it's the outer elements that do the toasting - my instruction booklet says the opposite. You'll have to play with the dial to find your ideal level of toasting for various items. On mine, for normal toast, 2 is perfect. The cover lid gives it a very nice look on the counter when not in use. Really enjoying this toaster - great purchase and would buy it again. Next day delivery from Amazon was an extra plus.

There are many nice features to this toaster 1st is the pretty retro style. I have the red. I love the way it toasts evenly. I like dark toast and this doesn't take forever to toast on #6. I love the way you can turn the dial and reheat the bread without it further darkening or burning it. I have not used the croissant warmer but glad I have that breakfast option. I thought the cover would be annoying to remember to put back on but its not and is a good feature to have. It looks better and complements the style. The darkening turning dial is really nice as you can see what browning level you are at without guessing. The reheat is on that dial and the bagel and defrost are buttons on either side of the cancel button and they light up around the button. There are 2 features not available on this toaster One is the lift lever doesn't lift the bread out. It just pops up. And the other is that it is not cool touch. I don't mind forfeiting those features because the toaster toasts beautifully. I would buy again for sure as it does have good features and the bread comes out so evenly toasted.UPDATE: It bit the dust after a yr and a half. Toaster graveyard.
