I had a drain plug that didn't want to be removed. This tool fit in the plug but kept slipping out when trying to remove the old plug. I ultimately bent the plastic but the tool still works. After removing the old drain plug with a screw driver this tool installed the new drain plug easily. I would recommend buying the kit that has new drain plugs and the tool instead of just the tool

Work as intended. Easy to loosen and tighten the oil plug. Made of plastic, but it will get job done.

I've used this now for over 3 years. Have done plenty of oil changes on an s3 and golf R. Works as expected and still going. Great tool to have and never had to replace any drain plugs

After my first oil change where I destroyed my oil cap, I felt I need the specific tool. I was worried when I received it that it was too flimsy since it was in plastic instead of metal like the original tool.As someone with limited space, you only need to lift the car by a few inches to get access to the oil pan with this. You can't miss it and since it's plastic, you can't destroy the cap.

No complaints here. It's plastic, yes, but it does its job, and the drain plug is plastic as well anyway. Fits in the drain plug perfectly and easily twists it out. This was one of the lesser expensive versions I found and I couldn't be happier I didn't waste money on a more expensive one that does the same thing.
