Everything is effort with this one. I used to have Cuisinart and I love it, but this one is BIG REGRET, I bought from Ebay and seller does not accept return.

Had high hopes & was disappointed and could have been injured while using. The rubber grips do not keep this stable/ from moving on your countertop, the whole mechanism does not lock in and STAY locked in while in use-you will need to hold this the entire time and in multiple places if you’re grinding something like dates which is what I bought this for because cleaning a blender is a task. Basically, while grinding up dates the lid loosened off when I wasn’t holding it AND the container itself loosened as well so that mid grind I had to re-lock it in and gear that it would unlock again and all the while it smelled like burning due to the motor having to work so hard. Would not recommend and honestly I want my money back.

I have an 8 cup and 1 cup but they are a pain to use. This is the perfect size, I really like how the blade switches direction

After more than five years of use, our first Chopper developed cracks in the plastic blade housing. Although it still did the job, we thought it prudent to replace it, as we use it often. The new unit, aside from cosmetic changes seems just as reliable as the previous one. This unit has changed from a full handle on the bowl to a "lip" at the top. The previous design seemed better but not a deal-breaker.

I used it for chopping cranberries for my cranberry orange bread. At first had a hard time figuring out how to put it together as seemed different from my old one
