This was very easy to use, I filled it with chocolate syrup for a birthday breakfast and it squeezes very easily, making it very easy to write with as well as fill. I threw it in the dw afterwards so clean up was super easy as well.

Très bien pensée, super pour faire des motifs digne d un chef, bien sur il faut un temps d adaptation, mais avec un peu d imagination on arrive à faire des choses magnifiques. Le seul hic c est sa capacités trop petite. Niveau lavage facile.

The Cuisipro pen is just OK. I say this because I tried using the fine tip with a mixture that contained a little bit of specs, and they would not go through the fine tip, only when removed. It is a little bit tough to squeeze the mixture out, a pastry bag is usually softer for the squeeze. I am a pastry Chef and had always had difficulties writing on cakes but this did not solve it. I recommend this product only for plate decoration and more abstract shapes in general, not writing.

Works incredibly well---- if you are making a birthday cake for your friend and are thinking of personalizing the cake-- definitely get this decorating pen! Writing on the cake is so much easier with this decorating pen because you can easily control the size of your font by squeezing the pen:) It's also easy to clean--- Love it!!

This was bought as a stocking stuffer for my teen daughter. It looked promising and easy to use. Wrong! It is a complete mess to fill, and frosting comes out the top at a faster rate than it comes out the bottom. Even if you keep the frosting from the top from getting on your work ( though it will be all over your hand) it has such a wiggly skinny line of frosting that comes out that it looks worse than just using a tip and a disposable bag. And it is a mess to clean up. We almost decided to put it in the trash rather than putting in all the work it took to get it clean. I am guessing that if we try it again it will end in the trash.

I have been slowly increasing my knowledge on cake and cupcake decorating over the years and I have round this item to be really great for writing with chocolate. I just melt my chocolate accordingly then dip the pen in to the sauce and suck it into the tube. A small wipe on the tip and then i am ready to write. I find the ability to just gently squeeze the pen to get the chocolate to come out has given me much more control over how my writing comes out.I really enjoy it. Just be sure to use the chocolate in it fairly quickly or it will harden. For clean up it was easy. I just put it in hot water to get any left over chocolate out and then hand washed it.I only used it for writing with chocolate but I can see this being used for a variety of sauces.

I have tried several tools on cake decorating but found this to be the best. Very easy to use. You load the pen with icing and start writing as you would on paper. Plus there is no mess like with icing bags that sometimes leaks at the end. Easy to clean and store. What more can you ask for? I highly recommend it for children learning to bake.

This is definitely a cool kitchen tool to have. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because it's a *little* more expensive than I think it should be. Also, the chamber to hold whatever you're decorating with is pretty small. However, it needs to be fairly small to allow for the amount of control you want to have to use it. The tip and plunger are sturdy plastic. The body is made of thick plastic. This is definitely made with quality. It's nice that you can take the tip off to get a thicker line.I used it tonight to drizzle candy coating on some things. It worked really well. You just put the tip in the melted chocolate, draw up the plunger, and start using it. It takes just a short while to get used to. You can hold it like a pen and squeeze to get better control, or you can push the plunger down if you don't need as much control (I found the latter method better for just drizzling chocolate). Big advantage for what I used it for: Much less mess. Clean up is easy also.I'd definitely recommend this. If you keep it in the back of your mind, you'll find times when you will use it...especially if you work with confections and sauces a lot.
