Read a lot of the other reviews. This is made for RV’s even includes a filter bypass plug for winterization. My water flow through the faucet is fine. According to the manual low flow indicates the need for a filter change. The adapter sits on the 1/2 line between the line and main faucet. The tubing is cut and press fits from the adapter to the filter housing. The filter housing has a removable top to make mounting a cinch. Yes there isn’t a press fit connection on the dispenser connection but they include strengthener that goes inside the tubing and compression fitting to the bottom of the dispenser. It also has an indicator light on the dispenser to remind you when to replace the filter element. It’s a great product but keep in mind this is made for the RV industry. dispenser design could be better but definitely better built than 90% of the faucets the rvs are shipped with.

I was buying these en masse pre pandemic. These were quite affordable up until we all got sent home for a few months. Then I noticed the prices more than tripled. They were a great value when I was buying them pre-pandemic, these days, not so great a value. These use "somewhat" universal filters. If the two rubber ringed nozzles fit into it - it works with some hacking. That other plastic piece is a key and that is how the different manufacturers can prevent people from using each others filters with their devices. There are some aftermarket suppliers of filters that sell filters with just the two nozzles without the key (Aquacrest and Waterdrop are two on Amazon, prices also spiking post-pandemic) and these work great in this housing. These use a plastic hose pressurized line and it can catastrophically fail if not securely installed or just because it feels like failing. When installing, be sure the hoses are installed correctly and securely, and then test for a good 10 minutes to see if there are no leaks - then keep an eye on it. When they catastrophically fail, it's as if someone turned on the faucet and let it run all over the floor and leaking into the lower levels. I've also had these fail because I hit the suspended water line and the wrong angle. But when they work, they work great. I actually have 4 of these - each with a different kind of filter running between my water supply and drinking dispenser. As good as bottled water, without having to lug volumes of water every time I go grocery shopping - but this is with 4 stages, not just the single stage in one item. These were very easy to buy at affordable prices until about May 2020. After that, the prices more than tripled and I haven't bought one since.

The faucet had a cosmetic defect in the plastic chrome on the handle. Thankfully I bought an open box for half price to use the filter and tubing for my existing system, so I just trashed the facuet.

We installed this for my son who was going through a case a day of bottled water. It installed easy. We had a small pipe so went to home depot and got this adapter instead of using the one provided. It comes out faster than most filters even though I have smaller piping .

Was a little iffy getting it in but not bad. Water tastes good. My water pressure isn't great so it streams slow, neighbors have said they bought better ones and their stream is much better. Think I would have spent a little more if I did it over.

Installation went smoothly. It's functional. At first, it was extremely slow. After sitting overnight I tried it again and it was working fine. Not sure if took a while for the filter media to saturate but I have no complaints about the flow and the taste is good.

Very well thought out system. I especially like being able to easily remove the filter from the system when I winterize the RV. With the system I had before, this always ruined the filter. Although the cabinet where this is installed is very small, the installation process was pretty easy and I didn't have to make a bunch of trips to the hardware store for missing parts. The filter is restrictive and the water flow is slower than before, but that is the price of a good, low micron, filter. It still works, even on the RV water pump, and we just put a small pitcher under the faucet and turn it on. Small price to pay for knowing we have good tasting and safe water, even when connected to a water system we know nothing about.

this replaced an ro di unit which was over kill. much easier to install and maintain why not 5 stars? well the faucet is crap. had to go to home depot and get a real faucet that does not leak. Also the "filter detector" is just a count down timer....delete that part and get a real faucet with this and you will be at 5 stars. Still it is better and more cost effective than anything else o the market today
