This was a great tool to have as an uber driver however I wish the actual phone holder part of this item was a bit more secure. Sad to say that it become loose after time and then just busts. Had to toss mine just last week.

It seems like it shouldn't work, but it does. Fits in the cup holder of a '16 Charger and when the bottom is twisted to extend the stabilizers, the holder stays put. Its own cup holder fits both a Thermos travel mug and a Rubbermaid 20 oz. water bottle, using silicone "fingers" inserted into the cup holder to keep my bottles and mugs from flopping around.Thumbscrews at the joints of the phone holder arm keep the positioning intact. I give 4 instead of 5 stars because I wish there was a little bit more articulation at the ball joint of the plate that holds the phone, but the angle I can achieve with the arm and holder is adequate enough for my extended commutes.There's a little bit of rattle noise when there's no phone in the holder, but that's to be expected from a plastic product. Otherwise, the phone is securely held in place even in landscape position where the top of the phone (now facing left) hangs off of the holder plate.

I didn’t want a permanent phone holder. I wanted one I could take with me from vehicle to vehicle. Vent ones made me nervous due to the older vehicles vent are flimsy. I didn’t want heat or air blowing on phone at the vent or any vent obstruction when it’s hot outside.I didn’t want to have one on a luxury vehicle dash either. So this was the best option for me. I don’t feel like it’s in my ” way” as some comments have expressed. It sits in the cup holder to stabilize the bottom has adjustable wedges that increase or decrease with a simple twist. The cup holder is not rendered useless as a bottle or tumbler can still fit into while in use . The arm that actually holds the phone can be adjusted as well in 2 places to accommodate charging a drink and visibility of the screen for say like navigation. That is exactly the setting I used it in….a tervis tumbler , charging and gps navigation. I’m so pleased !!!!!!I’ve used it in to vehicles already: a 2008 dodge caravan and a 2001 Toyota Camry. I have yet to use it in the 2011 Mercedes Benz. But I expect it to function well there also.

Love this!!!! Makes it safer to drive its durable and really nicely adjustable while not being flimsy. I was constantly having to search my console for my phone and ive tried other holders that werenso inferior to this one.

I'm a delivery driver, so I spend a lot of time in the car. This is the best phone holder I've found! All of my other ones blocked a cupholder, so I love that this one doesn't do that. I always have my coffee and water with me while working, so this one is perfect. The cupholder is large enough for my coffee container and it's very stable, it doesn't budge or move around at all. I drive a 2007 Acura and was worried it may not fit, but it fit perfectly after adjusting the bottom part and getting it just right. It also works great with my phone.
