I tested this device out and it works like it should.If I'm not paying attention and I run the microwave while something else is on it blows the breaker, then the clock is wrong again , etc - so I want to use this to help me avoid this. The device doesn't have a NC and NO, just a switch it closes. So I'm going to add this at the panel, and an audible alarm will sound if I cross a threshold with current draw. So when I am in front of the offending appliance I should hear an alarm BEFORE the breaker heats up enough to trip, then I merely say "oops" and turn the thing off. Rather than a trip to the panel and resetting clocks, etc.
