Installed myself with no ramps or lift. Took about an hour. I've installed several Curt hitches on difference vehicles- golf, Jetta, now Mazda 2. This was the easiest. I love that there's no drilling. It even includes the bolt leaders to feed the bolts in through the inside of the frame

Well built, using with 1 1/4" drop hitch on Mazda 2 2012 for a year and zero issues. Had to loosen one bolt and re-adjust flat washer inside frame so it sat flush inside frame---I installed too fast. Take your time and follow instructions. Also bought Curt wiring harness to match and the combo adds value to vehicle. Very satisfied.

not hidden though, the tubular can be seen below the rear bumper unlike the other expensive brand but it works as a bike hitch

Installation was pretty easy. I used ramps to raise the rear of the car and laid on the driveway to install it. Took under an hour. After reading the instructions, I was a little concerned about using the fish wire (included) to run the bolts through the frame of the car, but it was much easier than it looked on paper. If you install it yourself, read the directions thoroughly before you turn any wrenches, and don't get ahead of yourself. Looks great and very professional after installation!!

Pretty easy install, instructions were straight forward. I definitely recommend having a friend to assist in holding up the unit to the car.
