Works as it should fit the vehicle well and seems to be of good quality, time will tell. Also looks nice on the vehicle.

Give yourself a solid 4 hours of work time to do this alone. The smallest bolts were the ones that gave me the most trouble, so much so that I ended up just using the OEM ones already on the car. Once I had the 4 main holes drilled I cranked down the bolts and nuts and then was able to tread the 2 small bolts in after everything was tight. I cursed a lot, it was a job. But it fits great on my 2008 Mazda 6i. Thank you

I installed this hitch on my 2007 Ford Fusion. It didn't take long at all. I have the 2.3L 4 cylinder. Don't know if that makes any difference, but I didn't have to move or lower my exhaust at all; just push it a little bit for room. I would recommend drilling the holes just a little bit bigger than 1/2". Mine got jammed and I got mad. so I had to make a new pull-wire for the bolts. lolI love how the hitch is hidden. No one even notices it unless I point it out.

I bought this for a 2009 Ford Fusion SE, with the 3.0L V6 (double the exhaust in the way).Unfortunately, the holes don't quite line up. And because the metal is so thick (normally a good thing), I have virtually no chance of bending it into place to get the bolt in.I've been trying to wrangle this thing into place for over 3 hours now, and I'm resorting to googling how other people might have solved this issue. I don't even think I can return it at this point though, so I'm about to probably clamp it to my bench and start hitting it with a hammer to make the holes line up.For a product that's just a few pieces of steel welded together with holes in it, you'd think they'd at least get the measurements right.

Didn't match up to bolt holes. Had to use 3 jacks and a bunch of clamps to force it into position. Took a couple hours to get it fully installed. Looks good once installed but a real nightmare to install.

Bought this for a 2006 MazdaSpeed 6. Was guaranteed to fit, but it doesn't really line up. Should have returned it and almost did, but a co-worker of mine who is very talented with tools and such managed to adapt it. Took him several hours and some cutting and bending to get it on securely and even then only 4 of the 6 bolts are in place. Should send Amazon (or Curt) a bill for his efforts. Maybe it fits a regular Mazda 6, but it doesn't work with a Speed. Not really happy, but it'll have to do.

Installed on 2009 Ford Fusion. Had to drill 2 holes in frame. Dont worry about special drill bits but DO use a small bit to start and slowly work your way up. Go slow and let the bit work. Other than that install was not a problem. Muffler was kind of annoying but youll figure it out. probably took me 2-3 hours because i kept getting interupted and initally I didnt start with small drill bits or use some oil to remove the muffler. Now the hitch is on and Im hauling bikes left and right!!! So glad i bought it.UPDATE: It took some time to get all the right things in place but I'm fully setup to tow (See attached pics). You'll need a few things. If you have an 09 Fusion look for the wiring kit for lights (CURT 56048 T-Connector). You'll want to get a hitch with at least 2.5" rise and I used a 2" inch ball. You will also need a hitch pin. I've done a bunch of reading and this car is not formally supposed to tow. With that said, it is out of warranty and many people tow. The general consensus online is anything less that 1000 lbs. and your safe. I also bought a transmission cooler for about $30 just in case. Long story short, no more strapping large objects to the roof of the car.

Fits great. The included tool for fishing the bolts works well. Be aware- you will need a beefy drill to drill that 9/16" hole in the bumper support. I should have used a step cone bit for this. If you have no mechanical background you might as well clear your afternoon to accomplish this. This would have taken the 1.5 hours if I wouldn't have wasted time using a black and decker drill.
