As simple as screwing 4 bolts in. I did have to hold pressure against my exhaust muffler with my knee till i got it all in just the right spot but it was made perfect and i highly recommend it

So far it's good assembly was easy, my only complaint is that I'm guesses in transit the powder coating was scraped off which was a little upsetting

The trailer hitch is very well made and painted. I would warn any do it yourself guys though. The papers say installation time is fifteen minutes. The fifteen minutes is a big stretch unless you won a floor lift. This hitch for my 2014 Hyundai Tuscon requires that you lower the exhaust as it will not fit around the muffler. I asked my car dealer to install it while I was getting my oil changed this morning. They wanted $275.00 labor to install the hitch. I just laughed and said no I will do it myself. The install will probably at best take you 45 minutes.

This fits my Sportage perfectly. The frame of the hitch is covered by the rear bumper and the only thing you see is the business end of it. Install is really easy. I'm only moderately handy and I didn't have any problems. No need to jack up the car. Just lay on your back, line it up, tighten the bolts. Directions say to start on the passenger side, which is smart because you have to maneuver it behind the exhaust pipe a little. It's not difficult to figure out, but it sure would be harder if you bolted in the driver's side first. It's helpful to have someone hold the other side steady while you attach it.

This is a very cleanly manufactured product. It took me only ten minutes lying on my back in the driveway to install this hitch. It is discreetly hidden behind the bumper with only the receiver showing. Everything works perfectly!
