All the hardware, holes and instructions worked wonderfully. Kit was well thought out and designed.Fitment requires some cutting of the bumper skin but allows for a much tidier look and higher tongue than alternative designs.

Pretty straightforward mount design. 2 bolts in underbelly, 2 bolts through rear bumper. Few cuts to the bumper using metal shears.Took 25min total to install. Kinda cheated, as the car had aftermarket exhaust.I like this design better than the standard hitch for the Impreza. Lower visual footprint, plus it's mounted higher.

Pros:1) It's a good hitch.2) Instructions were good.Cons:1) Huge bugger to disconnect the exhaust hangers on my Impreza.2) My vehicle is 8 years old. So. Much. Rust.

First off this was definitely not a 30 minute install, maybe with a lift and like 4 guys. That said I was able to install it myself in about 2.5 hours and the instructions were relatively straight forward. I put the car on ramps so it was easier to get under, dropped the exhaust on some jack stands (as low as it would go) and used a floor jack to help lift the hitch into position once I had fish-wired the bolts in. I cut the bumper in sections as required when I was lifting it, otherwise I would have to cut way too much. All said happy with the way it looks, and if I had a bit of help it would've been much easier to install.

Worked great on my 2009 WRX hatch. Installed myself in an afternoon. Only hitch (haha) was that one support contacts the rubber isolator mount for my stock exhaust. Had to drop the exhaust to gain access to the mounting points, and the last exhaust mount took a lot of elbow grease to squeeze back into place once the hitch was installed.I measured and cut a notch in the diffuser for the receiver to exit from and am very pleased with the result. No rattling or loosening over time (it's been about 18 months). I use it for my hitch-mounted bike rack, but have never hauled a trailer or anything bigger.

Installation on this was pretty straight forward. Drop the muffler, thread the bolts through, tighten everything up without dropping it on your head (gotta keep things exciting, after all) then put it all back together. I also went ahead and put loc-tite bolt gripper on the nuts to ensure they didn't go anywhere. We hoooked up a hitch hauler to expand our cargo space and this thing performed wonderfully. Again, it was straightforward to install, but it took some time to do. The instructions said 30 minutes, but I think they wrote that so they would have a good laugh at you.You will need to cut the bumper a bit when you put this on, but do not follow the instructions for how long of a cut to make. I followed the instructions without fitting it and the hole I cut was much longer than it needed to be.

Product installation is easy and direct. You just need to trim the rear bumper slightly for the hitch opening. Be sure to hand tighten nuts, then tighten the nuts that mount on the crash bar before tightening the nuts that mount on the frame rail. Fish wire technique is easy - you just need to be patient. It would help to have an extra pair of hands to lift the hitch into place to align with the bolts, but not required.Only downside to the product is the packaging method. It arrived with the hitch frame surfaces and edges exposed to damage in transportation. I did not expect this and was surprised that Curt would package a great product so poorly.

Livré en 2 jours. L'installation m'a pris 30 minutes et je n'ai eu aucun problème a l'installer. Les soudures sont solide et l'acier est de qualité. 10/10

I bought this for my 2011 Subaru WRX STi hatchback. The install did not go as easy as we had hoped. I had my dad do the installation who has been a body man his entire life. That may be why he chose to just pull the bumper off which actually made the installation a whole lot easier. The reason he did this is there are two places it screws underneath the bumper where you cannot reach with your hand/arm and are supposed to use an extension, we just didn't have much luck with that.Once it was installed, it fit and looked great on my car. Most people did not notice I had installed it. It was purchased to carry my Thule T2 bike rack, so when the rack was not on, it was sort of concealed away. For an aftermarket part it did fit great!

I installed this myself on my 11 WRX Hatchback and you can barely tell its there. The installation wont take that long once you figure out that you are better off removing the exhaust muffler of the car...that being said, the unit only comes with 2 wires to fish out the bolt from the chassis. Two bolts are bolted to the chassis ( bottom of the car ) and 2 are bolted to the rear bumper chassis ( chassis area behind the rear bumper ). I used the two wires to fish out the bolts on the bottom area of the chassis, then I tied up a 50lbs mono fishing line to the other two then wrapped it with masking tape. Placing the two bolts behind the rear bumper was a little tough, since you have to insert the bolts into the bigger hole and pull it out on another smaller hole 3 to 4 inches away...put the hitch and lightly screw the bolt on the bottom chassis ( just so it does not fall on your face ) then line up the holes on hitch and rear chassis area and pull the fishing wire out with the bolts attached on the other end and whoala...all bolts are out and start tightening them...re install the muffler and you are good to go...sounds like a lot of work but it worked out for me.Know that you have to put the bolts and a washer inside pre drilled holes on the chassis then pulling them out with the bolt threads facing out of the chassis where you tighten the nut. This is where you need 4 wires to fish out the bolts ( in my case was the mono line )...if you don't have anything attached to the bolts, you will end up pushing the bolts into the chassis when you are lifting the hitch and lining up the holes and bolts...if you do and you have nothing to pull it out, good luck getting them back to the holes.

I installed this on my 2009 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport. I thought the curt 11315 and the draw-tite/ hidden hitch receivers looked a little too truck-like with all that exposed bar underneath the bumper. This one's bar is tucked up behind the bumper.Installation was easy for the most part (I had a second pair of hands). The hardest part was pulling off my dirty old bumper with it's dirt filled stubborn clips. The fit is very tight at the rear muffler hangers, had to bend them quite a bit to get them back on. Using skinnier hangers (if such a thing exists) or bending the muffler arms would have helped, but isn't necessary. Only had to cut about 3 inches of bumper off because mine doesn't have any defusers. So far I am very happy with this little receiver.

I have a 2010 WRX hatchback with a Perrin catback. I wanted to switch from a roof rack to a hitch mounted bike rack. Most of the other hitches didn't allow you to use an aftermarket exhaust. However after some research, I found this one. It bolt to the rear bumper beam and the underneath fram rails. There is absolutely no interference with the Perrin exhaust and I don't see it hitting the straight style exhausts either. I did have to trim the rear diffuser a bit to make the hitch fit, bit it was only a 1.5" x 4" section in the center and is barely noticeable (minus 1 star). The hitch installed in about 1hr and is solid as a rock. My Yakima Hold-up is just fine with a 40lb freeride bike connected to the hitch.
