Works well, plug and play with the car no problem. Running the extra power wire was a little annoying, but any kit is going to be the same thing. Also has exactly the right length of wire to tuck it into the spare tire well and have a good amount of wire for the trailer connector.

The power pack and tail light splicing install is eazy peazy, but running the power cable from the trunk to the battery in the engine compartment takes some insight and forethought. I had to drill a small hole in the driver's side trunk floor just behind the seat and with a grommet fished the wire through. I then routed the wire along the emergency brake cable and up into the engine compartment next to the wire wall. Don't be skimpy with the use of tie wraps. Be aware to keep the wire away from the hot exhaust and rotating parts. Installation to the battery was no issue.If you use care and think it thru it should go well. Mine did!

Wiring harness 56387 DOES NOT fit 2019 Malibu LT. Plugs do not mate to vehicle harness. Total waste of my money.

I have the LED tail lights and the one they recommended does not fit on my 2023 malibu 2LT.Black wires go with black, and gray go with gray

You put this on a car when it’s low to the ground you have to have it left it where you can run a hot wire. I’ll wait for the back to the front. But it works perfectly.
