Won't maintain pressure. There's no seal at the stem where the jiggle weight goes. All the pressure leaks out and never has a chance to build. Either they forgot to add a seal, or it's a defective design. Regardless, I'm sending it back. You can see in the included Pic what I'm talking about. I also don't think the safety valve is installed correctly.

Autocuiseur bien conçu et d'une bonne capacité (2 litres) pour une personne célibataire. Je déplore que la notice soit en langue étrangère sans un mot de français ! La poignées de bakélite me paraissent un peu légère. Sinon, je recommande cet article.

It's great for making hard boiled eggs. Bring it up to pressure, time for three minutes, and do a quick cool down.
