Where I live, my favorite FM stations have strong signal that I usually don't need the stick antenna that comes with my car. I just don't like the look of it. But that leaves a hole on top of the base. This is the perfect solution for that. Reminder, it is not intended to function as an antenna. You will drop frequency or hear static noise if your station doesn't produce a strong RF signal. I keep my antenna in the trunk, should I need it. I usually keep my AirPods on while I drive and listen through my phone most of the time.

The listing is a bit confusing but it worked fine for my 2019 Cooper S (F56). Simple as removing the original antenna, and using the included adapter (the one with the smaller threads on one side and bigger threads on the other. The listing says it doesn't work for what visible appears to be the antenna that I have but, despite this, it works fine. I don't use the radio much these days but even so, the reception was fine for the couple of stations I tested.Good little product to more or less delete the antenna on a compatible car. I docked it a star though because even though it works fine, $15 for what it is seems a bit steep to me.
