Definitely not a "direct fit," as suggested. Only two mounting holes lined up correctly. All others required drilling out new holes. No pre-drilled holes for neck pickup. Required drilling those as well. Cut-out for switch a knob plate required complete modification with Dremel tool for correct fitment.I would NOT suggest this item for anyone unequipped with drill and Dremel tools. I was happy that I was able to make it work in the end, but was certainly a hassle getting there.

Sorry I have to agree with the last two review. As far as my G&l ASAT Tribute. None of the hole line up and the bottom extends past the switch plate. I will have to drill new holes and widen the switch plate area both top and sides.

Good quality. Good shipping. One screw hole did not line up well... the one on the tip of the "horn" of the body. I drilled it out just a tiny bit more and added some glue to help the screw be more stable, since the rest of it fit very nicely. I didn't mind doing this since I knew it would not be visible and I probably will never take the pickguard off in the next 30 years. According to the G&L website, my serial number is a 1997 or 1998 model.
