I ordered this twice - first time was XS, second I got 2 by accident but got a small answer medium. I have a small munchkin cat that varies between XS and S things, and I didn't realize the fitting on this was pretty tight. There's no elasticity so it's like fitting a kid into a fitted costume - no wiggle room amd very little room between the front and back (they really should consider zippers or buttons or velcro).Anyway the reason I'm giving rhe review is because, although it's so adorable and I was dying to have it on her, the sizing is so wrong! The picture shows rhe THREE DIFFERENT SIZES. The XS (top) and S (middle) are barely any different... the o ly thing I can tell changed was the leggings hole size - the space inside the actual thing is barely sofferent, if not no different at all. But then the M jumps to a MASSIVE size in comparison to that small difference! I'm so disappointed and will absolutely be returning. I cannot get another item, either, since this is the sizing differences.

This is a very well made costume. The sizing is definitely off. My cat is 12 lbs and the large is huge on her. But I’m not sure I could get her to wear it. Instead I gave it to my friend and it looks great on her (much larger) dog. It was a little difficult to put on and I can imagine how cut and fun it would be on a cat. It’s great quality for a good price.

I will add a photo when he wears it on Halloween - Just the cutest costume ever! Really well made! No problem fitting my mini dachshund puppy who is 2.5 lbs. at this time and there will be room for him on Halloween. I will update. But, so far I'm really excited and happy with this purchase!

I ordered a medium because after reading the review of the large fitting a small child I figured a medium would be ok for my dog. I have a hard time finding clothes for my Dachshund because of how they’re built (small legs, big chest, long body) and this fit perfectly. I do have a miniature that weighs about 15lbs. It has plenty of wiggle room to not be too constricting around his chest area. Overall I’m really satisfied and he is possible the cutest turtle I’ve ever seen 😍
