We used this same for sand art in small bottles. Colors were great. The packages were sealed well & we had no leaked sand. When I cleaned sand up off the ground with a paper towel, no color transferred.

Arrived quickly. I planned to use this sand for fine art sand/cloisonne painting. It's hard to find fine grains sand that doesnt look cheaply dyed. Colors appear rich and grain is indeed very fine, however I was dissappointed to see almost all colors had some amount of multicolored glitter in it. Maybe 2 out of ~28 colors didnt have any. Some colors had more glitter than others. I bought the 16 count pack and a 12 count pack of pastels. This would be a 5 star product without the glitter.

The packaging was kind of disappointing because there was not the same amount of sand in each bag. Overall, it wasn’t a bad purchase. I just hate we have so much sand left over. We only used 4 colors.

Love the bright colors of the sand! But it is sand! It does get on stuff. I use this in my classroom and let the kiddos write their numbers and letters in the sand. I like the variety of colors because then I can tie in the color to the theme they are learning - red and green for the Christmas season, blue for the ocean, etc.There was a bit of sand in the box, so if you order, I suggest ordering it by itself. I had to dust sand off some other items that I ordered.

I bought this sand for my girls to play with. The colors are so brilliant and the sand is very fine and soft. It would be the perfect sand for sand art in a bottle or if you want t do a craft where you glue the sand onto a paper or cardstock. My girls just had a blast dumping and mixing though. Perfect activity since it’s too cold to play outside.

I honestly was skeptical of this sand — especially because one of our baggies had a hole and pink sand was leaking out when it arrived. BUT it still appeared full so we kept it, and OH. MY. WORD. Is this sand ever amazing?!The colors are beautiful and they retain their vibrance even glued on thinner. And my kids will make craft projects with this sand for hours, and still not want to stop at bedtime.Tomorrow we are delivering three wonderful works of art to their teachers, all designed in sand.Now our only problem is we’ll need more (and it’s a little messy.... but worth it. And if you put paper down first, you can catch most of it there instead of on your table or floor. I highly recommend this for creative (or bored) kids. Also would make a great gift!

Wether your crafting with your kids like me or creating beautiful works of art for wedding, special event, or house decor this sand is a fantastic product that gives you many options with maximum flexibility in color selection and quantity.My kids really enjoyed combining colors in a jar to create layered design crafts that they could show off. And the sand’s quality made them pretty enough to display. (If you do this make sure the jar or container is filled to the top to avoid the kids shaking the jar and mixing the layers.)Thankfully the sand big pack provides enough sand and colors to complete another project in the near future to keep the kids occupied for some time. There are unlimited possibilities to use this sand for decorative center pieces, zen garden, create beautiful art using clear glue and sand, or even to fill an old time sand clock.
