IT DOES TEND TO ROTATE AROUND THE TAIL GAIT AND NEEDS SOME READJUSTING, BUT PROTECT THE TAIL GATE WELL. PUTTING 2 E BIKES ON IT. THE STRAP EXTENSIONS WORK WELL AND ARE REQUIRED TO USE THIS WITH AN E-BIKE.

I totally expect this to last for quite some time, it's really nice quality and heavy duty.We just wanted something to help us throw the bikes in quick and go! This is perfect.The bikes fit over the tailgate and sit in the frame slots on the pad snug and do not move. You honestly don't need to strap them down if you aren't traveling very far or fear theft.Keeps the truck and the bikes protected.I fold it over and hang it flat on the wall for storage which is very convenient.I highly recommend this tailgate bike rack for FULL SIZED pickups.

The sewing on the straps is not very good...the first time I went to use it, one of the straps and pads fell apart and came right off. Not what I was expecting.

Nice pad with soft material inside and waterproof material outside.. easy to put on but only has 3 straps to hold onto the tailgate...would have preferred 4. The inside bike pads are a little low so don't hit the bike frame quite right. And, the pad groove could be wider. The straps are also to short for bigger frame bikes. They do include to two extender straps but if carrying 5 or 6 bikes then two would be insufficient. Only use for my wife and I so two works for me. Width was perfect for my 04 Dodge. Overall I am happy with this product ☺️.

I'm using this on a 1999 Ford F-250 Super Duty, and the pad is almost too wide. I have to pull the sides in slightly when closing the tailgate. That's kind of a good thing, because it means the pad isn't slipping side-to-side. But that's not my main gripe - it's difficult to cinch the pad down so that the cushions and straps are positioned correctly for the bikes. The company seems to think that the top of tailgates are shaped like a 4x4. Since mine is not, the cushions end up on the inside of the tailgate, where they don't really provide much cushioning for the downtube of the bikes. And the straps really aren't long enough for larger down tube like you'd find on e-bikes.

Perfect fit for my 2020 Silverado. Bikes stay put and zero shifting in bed. Tailgate totally protected and full view of backup camera. Install on your own can be tricky but if you attach a zip tie to each strap and feed it thru the bottom it makes it much easier. Remove zip tie and repeat process for each strap.
