For the price, this stand is great. I got it for a hybrid set with low volume cymbals and they are perfect. They stay where you put it and it's built well. I'm happy with it.

This is not a bad cymbal stand - it does what it advertises and it will do what you need it to do. But the value is just not there. These appear to be competing with the major music retailer's budget boom cymbal stands, but unfortunately the Vaisoeny stand is more expensive and more cheaply made than what you can already get at a major retailer. The metal, in comparison to a sound percussion labs or pdp budget stand, is cheaper and lighter with more manufacturing imperfections. For thirty to fifty, you can get a stand with thick quality memory locks and a metal wingnut. With the Vaisoeny, you get thin cheap memory locks and a black plastic wingnut for the cymbal. These smaller brands have a tendency to fluctuate greatly in price, so as you're reading this it may have dropped so much in price that it becomes worth the value, though I truly doubt that considering I can go down to my big box music store right now and get a better stand for half the cost. This is a decently packaged value stand that does its job, but if you're looking for a really good value I would strongly recommend you consider other options.
