Very easy installation. Fit my Echo weed whacker perfectly. Steel bristles are extremely durable and effective on hard surfaces.

I purchased a competitors blades that seemed very low price. They were. I would never think of using them. the teeth were already falling off after the first cut.I found this one and is seemed better made. It is!The only issue I had was the accessories did not fit my Echo Whip. However I had an adaptor from the other blade which fit like it was made for it. (see photos). Once the blade was on the nut did fit so it snugged up great. Since the blade rotation actually keeps it tight, I was ready to try it out.The first trial was on a 2" tree just to check for kick-back. Nothing. It lopped off the tree like butter and zero kick-back. Next I lopped a double brush clump of 8" It still cut perfectly.Next I went to an area that head overgrown with saplings to the point it was choking out my 4 year old pines. As you can see from the photos I cleared about 75 foot of my fence line in about 20 minutes and that includes picking up the sampling I cut.I highly recommend this blade. One caution is the adaptor. If you need one your local dealer may have one. If not I have made them before using a washer that fits the spindle, locking it in a drill motor and taking it down on coarse sandpaper. But please be sure the blade is centered.

Very disappointing product. Bought it to cut down invasive saplings, weeds, and vines. Advertised as compatible with my Echo but adapter parts had no instructions and i ended up using my own parts. Seamed to be ready. 15 minutes into clearing brush, the chain came off. Chain link is peened over so no way to get chain back on disk. I am going to a similar product where each of teeth individually attached.

This blade worked well (for a while) on my Stihl trimmer. The chainsaw type outer ring is a great idea. I used it to cut ivy, small diameter shrubs, branches, suckers, etc. After 1 1/2 hours of use it was pretty much trashed. If still cut weeds, but the blade was smoking on anything other than weeds and ivy.

I have a Cub Cadet (BC490) gas powered string trimmer. The trimmer works well on grass and weeds, but it's no match for the blackberry bushes in the Pacific Northwest. They're everywhere, and they grow fast and thick. (You know the kind; park your car for more than a week and you'll never find it again.) I thought I would give this blade a try. I wasn't sure it would fit my trimmer, but I had to try something. (Because the blackberry bushes were coming for me. Ahaaa!)The blade fit my trimmer fine, and was easy to install. I fired up the trimmer, and... holy smoke! This blade turns your trimmer into a Chainsaw-on-a-Stick. Blackberry bushes? Gone. Two or three inch branches? Gone. 500 year old redwoods? Gone! (Okay, just kidding about that last one.)This thing is a beast. My trimmer had plenty of power for this blade, but I'm not sure that a smaller electric trimmer would have the power you would need to get this spinning, so consider that. I didn't have any problem controlling the trimmer with the blade attached, but I was very aware that this blade means business, and acted accordingly.In summary: If you have some *serious* trimming to do, this is the attachment to get. Just be careful; this is brush cutting only. If you use this to trim up against a fence like you normally would with a string head, you won't have any fence left.Note: the photos show the overall trimmer, a closeup of the attached blade, and a sample of the one of the branches I was cutting (quarter for size reference). The blade tore through this branch in one pass like the proverbial hot knife through butter.
