These I mounted on the front of my Jeep Cherokee XJ which has a Wishbone front bumper. I haven't been able to use the Jeep lately so this is going to be a first impressions review. The finish is glossy but cloudy. The rubber friction pad is almost certain to fall off during the first use, but they all do and I don't find it necessary. The metal of the shackle is not even and it's inconsistently smooth and what might best be described as hammered. None of these are things I care too much about because my Jeep (like me) is not about looks. The pins screw in okay and the sizes are correct. Even though the finish quality is questionable, I don't expect them to fail as they are significantly oversize for my application.

I recently purchased these D Ring Shackles for my off-road vehicle, and I’m really impressed with their quality. The plastic protective parts are a great feature, ensuring that they won’t damage my vehicle when hanging. With a break strength of 41,887 lbs, they feel incredibly strong and reliable for towing and recovery. The 7/8-inch screw pin provides stability, which gives me peace of mind when using them.I appreciate the rubber isolator washers that prevent rattling during use; they make a noticeable difference. The frosted black finish not only looks good but also protects against rust and corrosion, which is essential for outdoor use.At $24.90 for a two-pack, I think they offer good value for the durability and functionality. Overall, these shackles are a solid choice for anyone in need of reliable towing equipment.
