As all things used in a pool they don't last forever. The swivels in my Polaris 280 have been leaking for so long and it still works. I checked back on my amazon purchase history and it showed I bought a new set of swivels ~ 2023. These ones work as expected, the only thing I noticed is before I installed I can hear the ball bearings shaking around inside not sure if this is normal or not but after installing the leaking stopped. So product is working as it should.

I am not sure why my Polaris 3900 swivels always seem to leak after a few years. At first, I am not concerned. But after awhile, I noticed my cleaner not acting like it should. There are other parts in play here, but losing pressure at these 3 swivels is certainly a contributing factor. So after a few weeks, the Polaris is once again seemingly moving about with the proper pressure. No more leaks in the line and even during the February (colder) period here in TX, the line didn't tangle as much. A good addition to helping restore my pool cleaner to proper use.

All three of these were tight and rough to rotate. One of them leaked worse than the one I took off. I would not buy these again.

This is exactly the result I was looking for, the Polaris 280 cleaner has been in use for a while now, the hose no longer kinks or leaks, and it was much cheaper, I love this purchase.
