These worked great. I was surprised they didn't throw a code due to temperature alerts on the OEM lights. I saw many firm posts about LED replacement lights need a custom code module for your code reader to set the ECU to ignore the temp codes LED lights would cause. It seems these lights provide the needed signal so the cat cannot tell.

Dude these lights are stupid bright they install easy they have a blueish tint to them so they dont blind the people coming towards you they are a bit pricey but for the money you would spend on xenon bulbs over and over again this pair will save you in the long run they function like no other i pick these over any other bulb ive ever tried

They are brighter then the oem hid lights that came in my 18 impala and they just plug in i didn't have to change anything. I've tried different hid bulbs also and these leds are brighter i definitely recommend them if your looking for an upgrade.

I am reviewing to describe what happened on my BMW and what I did see if only for 30 seconds with the hope of answering some questions out there.>First off these LEDs are fit good and the LED chip was placed in the correct location as to mimic the HID light output.>These lights made by CHOPDARK have built in cooling fans for pulling heat away from the 110 watt LEDs. The fans aren't that loud but they are small fans and ultimately moving parts that could fail some year down the road.>The LEDs functioned good for a very short time and they were very bright but my old factory ballasts designed to run 35 watt HID bulbs couldn't handle the added power required so the ballasts failed one then the other before closing the hood of my car. I can only blame the age of my factory BMW ballasts for the failure. Both new CHOPDARK LEDs appeared safe and very bright. They appear to be a great value for the money. Of course durability is hard to comment on as both my cars ballasts decide to quit working just after installation.I did some investigating and CHOPDARK does warn that some vehicles might have issues with changes such as changing the head light type. BMW is in that category. I hope to get new ballasts but I might not want to run LED bulbs powered through HID ballasts. I will update this review as soon as possible if I get different results.Thank you.
