I understand this is used and very old, but should have been tested before a sale. Rewind and Fast forward are basic things that should work.

Great seller, hard to find just a VCR these days. Bought it for the garage TV. I have hundreds of old tapes I like to run while I'm working on projects. Fit the bill perfectly.

BE FOREWARNED: This unit is MONO. Playback and recording are done in MONO, not stereo. I'm not sure how useful this unit will be as I have several Hi-Fi stereo VHS tapes to convert to digital and I really would like to do them in stereo, but it won't be possible with this unit.

The VCR did not come with a useful owner's manual. Only after downloading a manual from its website was I able to correctly connect it. Then, I found there is no way to separately connect the VCR's audio to a receiver/amplifier. Instead, it's audio only feeds to the TV, which has mediocre audio like most flat-panel sets.

It is hard to find a VCR plsyer/recorder so I was very glad to find this one.It came a lot earlier than I expected & arrived in wonderful shape and works very good. I will order from this seller again! Very Happy!

The Vcr Works very well and can quickly. Only problem was the remote did not work. It came with batteries alreadyinstalled, which were corroded, thus ruining the remote.
