I grew up in the 70's when "flower power" was the rage and these trivets remind me of that time. The colors are soft and look great in my kitchen. The thickness of the pads will be prefect for those hot dishes.

This is a really cute trivet, and sufficiently thick around the outer petals and middle to hold heavy pots. But it could easily bend if needed to hold a hot handle. There is enough of a ridge around the underside of the yellow center that it can hang on something, but might fall off with a little jostle because it's not very deep a ridge. The rest of the underside is too rounded to hang.I enjoy having this cheerful trivet in the kitchen.

Love this trivet! I leave it on my stove when it’s not in use to give my kitchen a little color. It also make a good spoon rest, and is easy to clean since it’s silicone. UPDATE: I ended up getting a second one and I can’t believe how many uses the this thing has! If you’re making something with eggs, you can put them on this trivet to prevent them from rolling around on the counter top. Also, when I bought the first one, I didn’t really like the weird snowflake design on the back, but it wasn’t a big deal. Now, however, I love it! The design on the back along with the thickness of the silicone makes it a great jar opener for when lids get stuck. I bought some silicone circles that were supposed to be good for opening jars, but the material is so thin they always feel like they’re about to rip. The material of this flower is much thicker, the snowflake design really grabs onto the jar, and the grooves in the flower petals makes it easy to grab onto without your hand slipping. These flower trivets are AWESOME!!!

I was going to use this cute daisy as a spoon rest on the stove. But it's so adorable I don't have the heart to stain it up with food. Too cute to send back so, for now, it's sitting on top of my small bedside CD player. Just makes me smile every morning as I get up to start my day!
