Made in the USA is just something that seems impossible to find these days. I was skeptical but thought I would give it a try. With that said the roll that I received was more pink then red. I was able to cover only four plants. The one plant that wasn't covered did so much better then the ones covered of the same variety. Did not see 40% more tomatoes like stated, lucky if there was 8 per plant. There are some holes but certainly not many, the plant would still have to be watered after a rain which was disappointing. The covers did hold up well and could be used again but will give to my neighbor instead.

Easy to use. Did the job of keeping tomatoes warm when Seattle nights dipped below 50. Also helps to put a bottle of water at the base of the plant to give off some heat at night.

It was a little difficult to wrap it on a squared tomato pot put its length allowed me to get creative and cover the entire plant. My tomatoes ripped very well during the start of the Fall season, it saved my plant from cold weather and promoted warm covering.

These were great! Best tomato crop we've had. Normally the wind and heat raise havoc with our plants and these really helped protect them. Kinda hard to put on our square cages and not sure they can be reused. We'll buy new ones next year.

I live in Northern IL surrounded by flat land (no trees). The wind is out of control and when it is time to plant my little vegetables, they either snap off or are blown ragged. I used this for tomatoes and it held up just fine to keep the plants from being butchered by the wind.

Received item quickly and it's exactly as described! Can't wait to cut the exact size I will need for each different tomato plant that I'll have growing :)

I garden in Colorado, at 7600' altitude. Most people around here don't bother to grow tomatoes; our 60-70 day growing season just doesn't make it worth-while. This past summer I field-tested Better Reds Greenhouse. All 12 tomato plants were very similar varieties, all short-season cherry tomatoes. Four were in the Better Reds Greenhouses. Four were protected by light-weight row covers. Four were not protected at all and were exposed to the intense sunlight and drying winds that are characteristic of our climate (USDA Zone 4). The Better Reds started producing tomatoes in less than a month after transplant -- ripe ones that I could eat off the vine. The row cover tomatoes did a good job of setting fruit but produced only about 1/4 of the ripe tomato crop that the Better Reds did. The unprotected tomatoes struggled to set fruit at all...I'd say that the field test was pretty revealing! I've already ordered more Better Reds Greenhouse kits for next year.

So far, so good!I am a novice at gardening and have A LOT to learn! What prompted this purchase was an unfortunate introduction to early blight. We had three days of almost non-stop rain and my tomato plants had no opportunity to dry out in between. I check on my plants at least twice daily. Literally, overnight, my two Goliath Bush plants ended up covered in black spots. They had been so healthy, lush and beautiful and I was devastated. Fortunately, they were the only two plants out of eleven that were impacted. Now that I know how blight works, I suspect it is because the Goliaths are determinates and they were growing more out than up. My indeterminates are growing tall and I have been meticulous about pruning the lower leaves. But, the Goliaths, not so much. So they were a bit too close to the soil.I pruned both plants pretty severely, knowing that it might not be enough to salvage them. Even the severe pruning could send them into shock. I then treated them with copper. In fact, I treated ALL 11 tomato plants with copper and will do so after any rain going forward. I then decided that since these two plants seem especially vulnerable, they needed added protection and I stumbled upon this product. It is exactly what I was looking for!The packaging indicates you should be able to get 5-7 cloches but I was only able to get 4. There was material left over but not enough to fit over an entire cage - and these cages are averaged sized. I have them secured at the bottom with rocks, which you may or may not find necessary.I actually ordered a second package because I would like to cover a couple of my peppers and okra too.I may update at a later time with comments regarding whether or not I see a difference in growth and/or production yield when compared to the comparable plants that were not covered. As far as I can tell, it's a good deal even just for the protection against pests and harsh rains.I would not, however, consider these reusable and therefore, if someone has a much larger garden, they may not be cost effective.5/9/16 UPDATEI was going order these again. Less than a week ago, I paid $11.73, tax included, and it was a Prime item. Today it is $22.87 and there is no way I am paying that. I am astonished that the price doubled. Definitely not cost effective. I won't change the rating though because I believe it still offers good protection.
