Our Products

scarecrow

Owls and Natural Scaring Devices

Keeping hungry pests at bay is one of the most difficult challenges that gardeners face, and failing to protect your garden from all the creatures who see it as an abundant food source is bound to lead to frustration. Fortunately, our natural scaring devices are the perfect solution to this issue. By mimicking natural predators such as owls, falcons, and snakes, our highly realistic natural scaring devices are able to keep your garden pest-free in a way that is both effective and humane. Simply place these decoys around your garden to convince pests like rabbits, rats, and other vermin that your garden isn't a safe place for a nice meal - no harmful poisons or cruel traps required.

netting

Garden Netting and Fencing

If you are looking for a humane way to keep your garden free of pests, installing barriers such as netting and fencing is an excellent option to consider. A quality garden fence is able to keep out a wide range of hungry vermin, while garden netting can protect against all of the same pests while also preventing birds from being able to access your crop. At Dalen Products, we offer a wide range of garden netting and fencing to fit any garden's size, shape, and aesthetic. Best of all, our high-quality fences and nets are built to last a lifetime and are carefully designed to weather the outdoor elements without any damage.

landscape fabrics

Landscape Fabrics

As challenging as it is to keep your garden free of pests, keeping your garden free of weeds can often be even more difficult. At Dalen Products, though, we offer a solution to weed control that doesn't rely on harmful herbicides or back-breaking work. By covering your garden with high-quality landscape fabric, you can prevent weeds from ever sprouting in a way that doesn't inhibit the growth of your larger plants. If you are tired of spending hours pulling weeds by hand but don't want to contaminate your garden with powerful toxins, covering your garden with our made in the USA landscape fabrics is the effortless solution that you've been searching for.

I guess you get what you pay for, maybe. These probably cost 50 cents to make and are VERY thin and flimsy, I doubt they will last one season, maybe next time I will try the "Tomato Crater", HIGHER PRICE but looks sturdy enough to last a few years, which in the end saves money over replacing these every season.

Whenever I watered my plants with a hose, the water would end up going away from the plant and not absorbing near the plant I was watering. For about half my plants, I use a more expensive product (tomato halo) that I bought last year. I couldn't bring myself to spend that much this time. These are not the same quality, but they cost a whole lot less and get the job done. I was able to put them on existing plants, which is very hard with the halos. I fill them with water, and it slowly sinks into the soil. I can't tell if the plants are doing better now, but I am much happier. It makes watering easier. It's been a little over a month, and I've had no problems.

I tried these years ago and forgot how really well they work, worth the money,my plants look as good as those 18.99 apiece ones ,now already, and they were grown from seed and transplanted with red trays around them ,when transplanted.

People, Yes, I love this product, If you believe the hole in which the tomato, pepper, cucumber, pumpkin plant come through is to small, then take out a pair of scissor and cut the damn thing. The trays do not have feet, they are designed to be pushed into the soil to provide deeper irrigation. If the wholes get clogged with debris then take a coat hanger or knitting needle, something and push it through the hole. O.K. so the product isn't perfect, and can be challenging to put around a plant and maybe lasts only two seasons, but here in California where my soil is sandy, and the breeze from the ocean is almost continuous, this is the perfect solution to my watering issues. This is a great product and has solved my problem with my soil drying out and yes my pepper and tomato plants do much better with this product. As a matter of fact, I just put my dip irrigation so it fills the tray. Love it!

I purchased some of these in the spring. There were not many testimonies from people that had actually used this product but I thought it might just give it a try. These were less expensive then the two part round ones. When I opened the box I was amazed. They reminded me of the plastic trays you get in a box that might hold a radio in the center and beside it an indentation for the batteries and maybe another one for the ear bud head phones or the instructions. Very cheap. If I pushed my finger aginst one of the 4 cones from the bottom they would easily fold up however the raised wall probably was strong enough as long as you didn't step on it. It probably only cost a few cents to actually make these things. Ok so I planted a few different types of tomatoes in these and right beside them I planted the same tomatoes with my traditional black fabric covering to keep down the weeds. You really have to be carefull putting these things over your plants or you can easily cut the stems right off. The other thing I notised is that the 4 holes that allow the water to get to your plant clog constantly. Iv'e had to use a wire to clean out each hole every week or the water just sits there and evaporates. The traditional round cages do not work for these but I found the square cages fit over them perfectly. My plants have been in them now about a month and they look great and have lots of blossoms but so do my plants right next to them without the trays. I can't see any diifference between them at all. I guess the final proof will be at harvest time but at this point I beleive that this will be just another one of those fad products that really doesn't work. I doubt the round ones would work either though they look like they are more durable and would fit over the plant eaisier.
