Packaged very well, easy to assemble and use. Just got it a few days ago and my lettuce and beets are already sprouting, the warming mat does the trick. The led grow lights seem to work just fine. I might buy another one. Overall the unit is well built. Dome and trays are solid, not flimsy at all. Controls are a great plus. It's worth the price.

The quality of the dome itself is good, but I’m giving this one star because of the heating mat. Even at the lowest temperature setting, it got so hot that it melted the plastic of the dome. That’s unacceptable and potentially dangerous. Definitely not what I expected

There is a reason this costs more than other germination kits. The plastic is super thick, durable and a high quality build.

I bought this one and a smaller one to germinate tomatoes, peppers and begonias. There is no difference between the bigger one and the smaller one besides no vent holes on the lid of the smaller one. On my 5x8 i planted 1 seed per cell and got 37/40 to germinate using a heat mat set at an air temp of 77 degrees inside the dome. I read one comment saying the timer didn't work and it took me a few nights of to figure it out because there is an On brightness and an OFF brightness and you have to leave AC infinity timers on the mode you want them to use so in this case leave it on the start or off time. I do not have a problem with my cell leaking and I can't imagine how much water they have in there to cause it to leak. One comment was the lights don't clip in. Well it takes about 10 brain cells to figure out that they send clips for the lights to clip in. And yet I never saw any yt videos of people using them. Plastic is pretty stout and not flimsy like most planting products. The only complaint I would agree on is the lights are too short and makes the plants on the ends grow crooked. Not a huge deal since they won't be using that light for long. Very efficient package.

This is a quality product and is worth the extra over other types of propagator if having a light built in is something you are interested in. The material is definitely better quality than cheaper versions and the plastic dome is made of a clear plastic that seems to let more daylight in than cheaper products. The extra height is great if you want to grow plants for longer and leave them in situ, and the light bars are made my Samsung, so all round great quality

No more cheap flimsy plastic domes. This thing is built SOLID.The dome height extension is awesome and comes apart for easy storage when not in use.The LED sits on the dome and doesn’t slide around.The propagation tray that holds the seeds is a bit flimsy but not bad at all!This is a buy once cry once product

I spent some time reviewing different options for seed/clone propagation from simple trays to auto cloners. Decided on this kit as it had everything needed for a good solid start and had a dome extender for taller clones. The kits comes on one box and was well packaged to prevent any damage. Everything appears to be well made and thought out. Even the packaging was a step above most less expensive options. Items were protected with heavy plastic zip bags, foam inserts and cardboard.The humidity dome is solid plastic and should not break with casual handling. The dome extender is easily put together with included screws/wingnuts. The extender allows for seedlings up to about 10" in height to fit under the dome. Several other reveiws noted that they didn't receive the extender. There are several products offered in the product description and the Large Dome kit does not include the extenders. Be sure the check the specific product you are ordering to insure it includes the extender if you want that. All other items included in the Full Dome kit were exactly as described.The seedling tray is even a good plastic thickness to last over many uses. The seedling openings are 1.5"x1.5" at the top and slightly taper down towards the bottom. Rockwool cubes of 1.5" square size will fit all the way down in these. There are two dome lights which fit into notches at the top of the dome not tight enough if turned upside down but not sloppy either. As some reviewers have noted, the dome lights extend almost to the edge but are one LED short on each side. I didn't see this as a defect but rather the way to kit was designed in case you choose to use different lights than what was included in this kit. The light controller has several scheduling options so you don't have to use a timer. The heat pad is a bit longer than the dome itself. It's controller is more simple in that it just adjusts from low to high but no exact temperature reading.All in all, this kit is well made, includes all that you need to start or for small operations. You can certainly get by with DIY options or buying everything piece by piece. But if you'd rather have everything in one set and ready to get started for a reasonable price, this is a very nice kit.
