This pot would have gotten 5 ⭐️ from me but lid doesn't lock in while draining. You have to use hot pads to hold lid in place while draining food. Making it awkward. Lid doubles for steaming lid on the griddle. Making melted grill cheese faster and easier.

I had to replace my trusty pasta pot when we got an induction range. I really loved the feature to strain it while still in the pot, so I came across this one. I read a ton of reviews and ended up ordering this one from Daniks. It's been fantastic. Can't quite get a full pound of pasta in it, but easily does .5 - .75 box which works well for my portions. Heats fast and evenly. Love that the handles are large and easy to grab. Great pot overall, and I'm picky.

Very good, no discoloration after cooking, great for boiling eggs, pasta, and with the unique lid allows you to drain water from the contents effortlessly.

This is the perfect pot for making small quantities of yogurt (1 qt) and cheese (half a gallon). The spout and strainer lid and measurement marks make life easier. Less to clean up. The extra heavy bottom allows for maintaining low heat for long periods. This pot is essential if you make yogurt and cheese in small quantities.

Just like the other pot I purchased from this company, this pot is NOT the advertised 2.9litres. Inside the pot near the rim, its measurement markings show it as being a 2litre pot. I used a jug to measure and definitely 2litres. I haven't used them yet, so I have no idea if they will be good to cook with, but I am not hopeful. If I could afford the postage I would be sending both of them back. This is so disappointing as they were for my birthday and I spent ages deciding whether to buy my usual brand or give another brand a try. Should have stuck to my usual brand as the price was roughly the same. Appalling behaviour Daniks.
