I bought a filter many years ago (more then 10) and the original pads have heldup extremely well. Saw these available and considered it was time to replace old pads. These are exactly the same items packaged long ago and I expect they will last just as long.

Fits perfect and works very well as a filtration media. You can probably make these last for a year or so with continous usage, but eventually they will breakdown. Throughout the years of usage the filtration system will get bogged down with detritus and they will require removal, flushing, and reinstalled.
