Works as described. Nice product seems well built and quality. Only issue I have is the key doesn't stay centered. It droops down when in place and slides out of the keyway. Could be improved by making it a better fit in the key slot. Otherwise nice product.

Goes from off to full open in 1/4 turn. I believe this type will require less maintenance.

Solid ball valve. I felt confident with it controlling gas flow. Out could've had a slightly longer mount stem to allow easier piping below but it works.

The quality felt very high. The install was very simple and works great. Not much more can be said I don't think. Unless you find cheaper, this is a great product. Was about $40 at the local hardware store.

Very good valve combo! The valve is very good, and works perfectly. What I like about these valve is that it allowed me to have my gas shut-off outside, through the wall, so no gas is inside the house when my fireplace is turned off. My wall is 2x6, and the valve was about 4" from the wall. So I needed to get a longer key and used a coupling and a piece of threaded pipe (Amazon rejected my review for calling that pipe the way it is called, thinking I was obscene) to get the plate at the distance I needed from the valve, and still look nice and be able to turn off the gas from inside the house. See pictures attached for my setup.Also, if buying them separately you'll pay more. In my case I needed to buy a longer key as well, and my dear wife wanted the place Satin, so I ended up paying a lot more... just my luck...

Nice looking valve and very sturdy; if you need a gas valve and it has to be in plain sight, this is it.
