I was really sick and tired of replacing my mercruiser belt twice a season and paying 40+ dollars each time. I decided to do some research/trial and error. This belt is a perfect fit for my 1987 mercruiser 3.0 (no power steering). It also is a lot more durable than the factory mercruiser belt. Ive been using the same Dayco belt for 2 years and only had to adjust the tension a few times.

This belt was what I needed, most newer belts all have cogs on the inside.
